As a former high school campus we have amazing facilities for middle schoolers, plus offer a jump up on H.S. with high school credit options for Algebra, Geometry, and Spanish!
Robust Athletic Programs
MMS has the largest athletic program in the Northwest League - Last year, we had over 700 student athletes compete!
Performing Arts & Electives
100% of Marana Middle School students participate in Visual and/or Performing Arts, Physical Education, or STEM electives daily!
Extracurricular Activities
At least 80% of Marana Middle School students participate in at least one extracurricular activity (club, sport, youth group, etc.).
5 Years of CCLC Classes!
MMS offers a wide range of CCLC class options from cooking and sewing to “weights and cardio”. Other favorites include “Wheel Fun” mountain biking, bird watching and a partnership with Parks in Focus providing the basics of photography.

The PTO is hosting a We Love Our School fundraising night at Peter Piper Pizza on Tuesday, February 24 from 5–8 PM. The event will include games, contests, raffle drawings, and prizes for attendees. Students who wear their reminder sticker and give it to the cashier will receive 5 free play points added to their play card. Teachers who attend and show their school ID will receive a free 7" one-topping pizza and a 20 oz drink, and they will be entered into a special teachers-only raffle.

PTOs throughout Marana USD and the MUSD Parent Partnership are collecting donations to restock the district’s FRC, which support MUSD students and families. Donate clothes, socks, hygiene items, shoes, and food staples!

Jill Cordova, Elementary Literacy Coordinator, has been named Marana Unified School District’s 2026 Exempt Employee of the Year. Jill’s leadership and dedication to literacy and helping students learn to read - and love reading - have made a lasting impact on students district-wide.
