Hello! I’m incredibly excited to serve as one of the Associate Principals at Marana Middle School. It’s an honor to continue working with this amazing community of students, families, and dedicated educators!

I’m a southern Arizona native and a proud graduate of both the University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University—so I can confidently say both Bear Down and Go Jacks! My husband and I have twin daughters who recently graduated from Mountain View High School, and as a family, we love spending time together—especially when traveling to escape the desert heat! Personally, I enjoy reading, learning new things, listening to music, and going for walks—all of which help keep me centered and energized.

With over 20 years of experience in education, my career has included teaching upper elementary and middle school English, as well as working as an instructional coach right here in the Marana Unified School District. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the full arc of student learning—from foundational skills to critical thinking and independence.

I’m passionate about fostering a supportive and inclusive school environment where every student feels valued and empowered to grow—academically, socially, and emotionally. Middle school is a transformative time, and I’m truly excited to be part of this journey with our students and families. I look forward to supporting, partnering with, and celebrating all that makes Marana Middle School such a special place.

Hello! I’m excited to begin my third year at Marana Middle School! I started my Falcon journey as the Assistant Principal overseeing Building and Grounds, while also serving as the Director of Athletics for the past two years. This year, I’m proud to step into a new role supporting our Educational Services Department.

I’m originally from New York, where I completed my college education and began my career in teaching. Over the past 18 years, I’ve served in a variety of roles in education—including teacher, instructional leader, and administrator—all of which have deepened my passion for student success.

My husband and I live in Marana with our two children, and as a family, we spend most of our time at the baseball field or basketball court. We are definitely a sports-loving, active family!

Being both a Marana resident and part of the Marana Unified School District is a true honor. I’m looking forward to another amazing year with the dedicated staff, students, and families of Marana Middle School!

I'm excited to serve as an Associate Principal at Marana Middle School.  I am born and raised in Tucson, a graduate of Sunnyside High and the University of Arizona. I live in Marana with my partner Michelle, and our five combined kids.

I began my career in education as a history teacher: World History, U.S. History, AP Euro and AP U.S., Government and Econ, and even Psychology.  I coached Varsity Boys Basketball, including one year at Chinle on the Navajo Reservation. I also had the honor of working for Five-Star Basketball camps for ten years and USA Basketball in 2004.

I have been an administrator for sixteen years, first at Globe High School and then in Tucson Unified for the last fourteen years. The past nine years I have been at Tucson High Magnet School, in charge of athletics and activities, and most recently Safety and Security.  I am very much looking forward to making the change to working with middle-school students – a time when the work we do makes such an impact on their future lives.  I have been so impressed with the quality and dedication of teachers and staff at Marana Middle and I can’t wait to be part of the team!
