This February, SSC services proudly hosted its Second Annual Cereal Drive in support of students and families across the Marana Unified School District. Thanks to the generosity and dedication of our school’s custodial teams, this year’s effort made an even greater impact throughout our district community.

After collecting 308 boxes last year, the team set an ambitious goal of 400 boxes for this year’s drive. Once again, staff rose to the challenge, and far surpassed it — collecting an incredible 700 + boxes of cereal, which equates to approximately 6,420 servings for students and families.

The drive was led by Account Director James Dickey, whose leadership helped inspire participation across the district. In addition to the cereal donations, SSC Regional Manager Coulter Sims contributed cartons of milk to help complement the collection and provide families with the essentials for a complete breakfast.

All items collected will be delivered to the MUSD Family Resource Center for distribution to families who can benefit from additional food support.
