MUSD Celebrates New Teachers Completing MUSD Teacher Induction Program

The Marana Unified School District proudly recognizes the dedicated teachers who have completed the district’s two-year teaching induction program.
Designed to support new teachers as they begin their careers in Marana Schools, the program provides mentorship, professional learning, and ongoing guidance and feedback during the teacher’s first two to three years teaching. From technology setup and school procedures to lesson planning, curriculum expectations, and access to district resources and instructional coaching, the program equips teachers with the tools they need to succeed.
“We know people can’t focus on teaching until barriers are removed,” said Christena Tenney, Instruction and Induction Coordinator. “This program ensures new teachers understand not only how we operate and teach within MUSD, but also has the resources, instructional aides, and coaches available to support them.”
