Athletics

Interscholastic activities play an integral part of a student's overall educational experience.

These activities teach our students values such as commitment, discipline, hard work, leadership, teamwork, and physical fitness; all of which are a foundation for academic success. Participation in athletic activities contributes to the physical, emotional, and social health of our students.

Today's literature on youth sports stresses the positive effects of participation in learning the important life skills of goal setting and time management combined with enjoyment; the development of a strong sense of morality; and the development of an appreciation of diversity.

Congratulations to our 2024-25 Special Olympics bowling team! On Friday, February 14, they celebrated their season with a special Medal Ceremony during our third quarter PEP Rally. Students ran in with the flame, received high-fives from the crowd, and were honored with their medals in front of the student body. Our very own Officer Ganzer was there to present them with their medals. Congratulations on an incredible season!
